Tait Terrace home in 2001. Virginia and Aubrey moved to Latham Drive in the mid-60s.

Norfolk's Maury High School in 2001. Aubrey and his brothers and sister and Virginia and her sisters, Gene and Carole attended Maury. The building has been renovated and the area up-scaled to become one of the most desirable areas of Norfolk.

Trinity Baptist church on Ballentine Boulevard. It was the family church for two generations. This is where Carole and John were married in 1960.

Norfolk Mayor Vincent J. Thomas and Aubrey at his July 31, 1979 retirement luncheon. This completed Aubrey's 23 years of service for the City of Norfolk VA, where his final position was as the Chief Building Inspector for the City. This was documented in a letter from the mayor and a letter from Aubrey's Department head announcing the retirement luncheon.
