(Note: Andrew was abt 5'8" tall with a massive chest and muscular arms even in his 60's. He maintained his farm like a game preserve and no one was allowed to kill anything, consequently there was an abundance of game on the farm including wild turkeys).

Was a Justice of the Court for Sept term 1858. He is listed with the 71 Regiment, 9th Division, 17th Brigade NC Militia 1861-1865 Forsyth Co).
