Susanna FULLER was born in 1577 at Redenhall, Norfolk, England. She married William WHITE, son of Bishop John WHITE and Mrs John WHITE, on 11 February 1612 at Leiden, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands; Married by Rev. John Robinson who led the small group of worshipers to Holland. She immigrated on 20 November 1620; Mayflower pilgram: Gave birth to son Peregrine on Mayflower. She died on 1 October 1680 at Marshfield, Plymouth, MA. She was buried after 1 October 1680 at Plymouth, Plymouth, MA.

Nathanial TILDEN. (Note: English Colonial Immigrant ). He was born on 28 July 1583 at Tenterden, Kent, England. He married Lydia Hatche HUCKSTEPE, daughter of Stephen HUCKSTEPPE and Winnifred HATCH, in 1606 at Tenterden, Kent, England. He was buried on 24 May 1641 at Kent, Scituate, MA. He died on 25 May 1641 at Scituate, Plymouth, MA, at age 57.

Lydia Hatche HUCKSTEPE. (Note: English Colonial Immigrant ). She was born on 11 February 1587 at Tenterden, Kent, England. She married Nathanial TILDEN, son of Thomas TILDEN and Alice BIGGE, in 1606 at Tenterden, Kent, England. She was buried in 1672 at Scituate, Plymouth, MA. She died in 1672 at Scituate, Plymouth, MA.

William WHITE immigrated; Mayflower pilgrams: Mr. William White, and Susana, his wife, and one son, called Resolved, and one born on ship-board called Perigriene; and two servants, named William Holbeck & Edward Thomson. William White brought with him on the celebrated Breeches Bible which recorded many important Mayflower events.

William White, was among that little flock of nonconformists who, under the pastoral care of Rev. John Robinson, went from England to Holland in order that they might worship God unmolested according to the dictates of their consciences. He was born on 10 November 1591 at England. He married Susanna FULLER, daughter of Robert FULLER and Sarah DUNKHORNE, on 11 February 1612 at Leiden, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands; Married by Rev. John Robinson who led the small group of worshipers to Holland. He died on 14 March 1621 at Plymouth, Plymouth, MA, at age 29. He was buried on 15 March 1621 at Plymouth, Plymouth, MA.

William BASSETT. (Note: English Colonial Immigrant ). He was born in 1595 at Sandwich, Kent, England. He married Elizabeth TILDEN, daughter of Nathanial TILDEN and Lydia Hatche HUCKSTEPE, circa 1625 at Bridgewater, MA. He died on 4 April 1667 at Bridgewater, Plymouth, MA. He was buried on 12 May 1667 at Bridgewater, Plymouth, England.

Elizabeth TILDEN. As of 1603, she was also known as Elizabeth NEILL. She was born in 1603 at Bridgewater, Worcester, England. As of 1603, she was also known as Elizabeth SELDON. She emigrated circa 1625; English Colonial Immigrant. She married William BASSETT, son of William BASSETT and Cecilia LIGHT, circa 1625 at Bridgewater, MA. She died in 1666 at Duxbury, Plymouth, MA. She was buried in 1667 at Plymouth, Plymouth, MA.

Resolved WHITE was born circa 1615; Named believed to be based on the decision made in Holland to to seek a permanent home on the other side of the Atlantic. He married Judith VASSALL on 8 April 1640 at Scituate. He died after 8 April 1640.

Olof THORSSON was also known as Olla THORSON. (Note: After three years of servitude at the Christina plantation, Olof Thorsson won his freedom and chose to remain in New Sweden as an agricultural worker. In 1651 when the Dutch built Fort Casimir at present New Castle, Delaware, he and a number of other New Sweden settlers to move across the Christina River and live under the Dutch. They built a community of log cabins north of the fort at Swan Cove (Swanwick) where he remained for the rest of his life.

The name Thorsson was not a surname, but rather Olof's patronymic, meaning that he was Olof, son of Thor. However, in succeeding generations it became the family surname (spelled Toarson, or variants thereof), later evolving into Tossa, Tossava and finally Tussey ). He was born in 1615 at Sweden. He married Mrs Elisabeth THORSSON circa 1632. He immigrated in 1641 to DE; Was sentenced for a minor crime and ordered to go to New Swenden. Transported on the ship Kalmar Nyckel with his family in 1641, was the progenitor of all known Tussey families in America in the 18th century.

He lived in 1651 at Community of Log Cabins, Swanwick, New Castle, DE. He died on 5 November 1678.

Timen Lulofsson STIDDEM was also known as Dr. Timon STIDHAM. (Note: Timen Stiddem of Gothenburg, a barber-surgeon for New Sweden, apparently crossed the ocean seven times before he finally settled in America. Based on a 1651 letter that he wrote to Oxenstierna, he was one of two barber-surgeons on the Kalmar Nyckel on its first voyage in 1637-38. He remained with the ship and, after its second voyage to the new world, Timen became the resident barber-surgeon from 1640 to 1644. Returning to Sweden, Stiddem married and departed again for New Sweden on the Kattan in 1649 with his wife and two small children. A third child was born at sea.

Unfortunately, the Kattan ran aground at Puerto Rico and Timen's wife and three children perished as prisoners of the Spanish. Timen Stiddem miraculously escaped and made his way back to Sweden by 1651. Marrying again, he sailed for a fourth time to New Sweden with Governor Rising in 1654. This time he stayed.

Initially Timen Stiddem settled at Fort Trinity (New Castle), but after the surrender of New Sweden to the Dutch in 1655, he moved to Christina (Wilmington) where he led an active life until his death in 1686. Being the very first physician in Delaware (Ref: J. Thomas Scharf, History of Delaware, p. 471), he periodically had to travel by canoe as far as Upland (Chester) to serve his patients.

His home stood near the "Rocks" where the Swedish ship Kalmar Nyckel landed in 1638.

The Timen Stiddem Society web site (http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~tstiddem/index.html)has much detail on his life and his many decedents ). He was born in 1615 at Hammell, Denmark. He married Mrs. (--?--) STIDDEM circa 1644 at Sweden. He married Mrs. (--?--) STIDDEM II circa 1653 at Sweden. He married Christina OLLESDOTTER after 1680 at DE. He died in 1686 at Wilmington, New Castle, DE.

Peregrine WHITE was born on 19 December 1620 at Provincetown Harbor, Barnstable, MA. He immigrated on 21 December 1620; Born on the Mayflower two days before landing at Plymouth. He married Sarah BASSETT, daughter of William BASSETT and Elizabeth TILDEN, on 24 December 1646 at Marshfield, Plymouth, MA. He died on 20 July 1704 at Marshfield, Plymouth, MA, at age 83. He was buried after 20 July 1704 at Marshfield, Plymouth, MA. (Note: His cradle is one of the few relics remaining from the Mayflower colonist ).

Margaret HOWELL. (Note: English Colonial Immigrant ). She was buried at Long Island, NY. She was born on 24 November 1622 at Hingham, Norfolk, England. She married John MOORE, son of John MOORE and Dorothy LOFTUS, in 1641 at Southampton, Suffolk, NY. She died on 9 May 1707 at Suffolk, Long Island, NY, at age 84.

Henry WRIGHT was born circa 1630 at Solihull, Warwickshire, England. He married Mary NEWEY circa 1650. He emigrated circa 1650; English Colonial Immigrant. He died on 21 December 1715 at Queens, Nassau Island, NY.

Sarah BASSETT was born in 1630 at Bridgewater, Plymouth, MA. She married Peregrine WHITE, son of William WHITE and Susanna FULLER, on 24 December 1646 at Marshfield, Plymouth, MA. She died on 22 January 1711 at Marshfield, Plymouth, MA. (Note: Early colonial birth ).

Mary NEWEY died at Nassau Island, Queens, NY. She was born circa 1631 at Solihull, Warwickshire, England. She emigrated circa 1650; English Colonial Immigrant. She married Henry WRIGHT, son of Jonathan WRIGHT and Mrs. Sarah WRIGHT, on 30 October 1655 at Solihull, Warwickshire, England.

John Jacob BYERLY was born in 1700 at Lower Palatinate Region, Rhenish, Germany. He married Mrs Mary Elizabeth BVERLY in 1728 at Germany. He emigrated circa 1750; German Colonial Immigrant. He died in December 1771 at Lexington, Rowan, NC. He was buried after December 1771 at Beck's Churchyard, Davidson, NC.

Johann George MEIER was born in 1700 at Wurtenburg, Germany. He emigrated circa 1720; German Colonial Immigrant. He married Mrs Sybilla MEIER in 1720 at Wurtenburg, Germany. He died in 1770 at York, PA.

Samonea AMBERG was born on 10 August 1704 at Glattfelden, Eglisau, Zurich, Switzerland. She married Johannes Peter GLATTFELDER, son of Felix GLATTFELDER and Barbara GORIUS, on 23 November 1721 at Glattfelden, Zurich, Switzerland. She emigrated circa 1730; Swiss Colonial Immigrant. She died after 30 August 1743 at PA.

Felix GLATTFELDER was born on 2 February 1727 at Glattfelden, Zurich, Switzerland. He emigrated circa 1750; Swiss Colonial Immigrant. He married Maria Sarah MEIER, daughter of Johann George MEIER and Mrs Sybilla MEIER, on 24 October 1750 at York, York, PA. He died on 18 January 1814 at Davidson, NC, at age 86. He was buried after 18 January 1814 at Davidson, NC.

David BYERLY. (Note: German Colonial Immigrant ). He was buried at Salisbury, Davidson, NC. He was born between 1740 and 1745 at Germersheim, Germany. He married Louise LUKENBILL, daughter of John LUKENBILL and Mrs Anna Christina LUKENBILL, on 10 April 1775 at Rowan, NC. He died on 30 December 1822 at Lexington, Rowan, NC.

William Glafstraughn BRASINGTON was born on 17 July 1776 at Ireland. He married Nancy Ann FIGUARS, daughter of William FIGURES and Mrs. Martha FIGURES, on 17 February 1802 at SC. He died before 1820 at Sumter, SC. (Note: Irish Colonial Immigrant ).

Joseph CLODFELTER was born on 30 November 1800 at Rowan, NC. He married Charity YOKLEY, daughter of Hugh B. YOKLEY and Hannah EDDINGER, on 29 July 1822 at Rowan, NC. He and Eliza F CLODFELTER Donated land for the church. Photos hung in the church vestibule before 1874 at Bethesda Methodist, Lexington, Davidson, NC. He died on 16 April 1874 at NC at age 73. He was buried on 17 April 1874 at Bethesda Methodist, Lexington, Davidson, NC.

David Allison TUSSEY was born on 7 April 1828 at Davidson, NC. He married Susannah KENOY in 1849 at Davidson, NC. He appeared on the census of 1850 at Davidson, NC; David Tussey, 22, M, Farmer, $500, NC; Susannah, 22, F, NC. He married Eliza F CLODFELTER, daughter of Joseph CLODFELTER and Charity YOKLEY, on 23 October 1855 at Davidson, NC. He and Eliza F CLODFELTER owned home called the Tussey home. Eliza lived here with Alexander Evans whom she married afer David's death. It is believed that this was her children's childhood home. Eventually it was occupied by Eliza's Clodfelter families in 1861 at Bethesday, Davidson, NC. He began military service on 8 August 1862 The North Carolina Troops 1861-65 Roster published in 1993 documents that he enlisted as a Private on 08 August 1862 in Petersburg, VA in Company H, 48th Infantry Regiment North Carolina. Died of disease on 03 October 1862 in Warrenton, VA. During this period his regiment fought in battles at Sharpsburg, MD., South Mountain, MD., Harper's Ferry, WV. and Frederick, MD. He was buried on 3 October 1863 at Warrenton, Fauquier, VA. He died on 3 October 1863 at Warrenton, Fauquier, VA, at age 35.
