The
family purchased a store and wood/coal business in 1928. It
was located in Ettrick VA just across the river from Petersburg.
The store contained a residence where the family moved. A major
reason for this move was to locate the girls near Petersburg
High School. It was located on 4 lots across from an elementary
school at North 37 degrees 14.3’ and West 77 degrees 25.5’.
The location is as shown on the map at right. |
